Fujairah, one of the seven emirates in the United Arab Emirates, is a popular destination for scuba diving due to its clear waters, healthy coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Here are ten of the top Fujairah dive sites:


Divers between coral and fish

Snoopy Island

Located off the coast of Sandy Beach Hotel, Snoopy Island is one of the most popular scuba diving sites in Fujairah. The island is named after its unique shape, which resembles the cartoon character Snoopy. It is known for its clear waters and diverse marine life, including turtles, reef sharks, and colorful fish. Martini Rock

Martini Rock is a popular dive site located off the coast of Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort. It is known for its clear waters, healthy coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Divers can spot schools of barracuda, moray eels, and reef sharks, among other species. There can be a slight current which can make it a difficult dive site for less experienced divers.

Depth: 18-20 meters

Diving Level: Intermediate - Certified Open Water Divers and above.



Dibba Rock

Dibba Rock is a large rock formation located off the coast of the fishing village of Dibba. It is a popular dive site due to its shallow waters, making it accessible to divers of all levels. Divers can spot schools of snappers, barracudas, and fusiliers, among other species. At the front of the rock (facing the shore), you'll often spot black tip sharks during high tide.

Sharm Rock (Three Rocks)

Located off the coast of Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa, Sharm Rocks is a dive site known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Divers can spot schools of batfish, angelfish, and triggerfish, among other species.

Depth: 12-14 meters

Inchcape 1

This artificial reef was donated to the coast of Fujairah by the shipping company 'Inchcape'. The sunken cargo ship is a popular wreck dive site with vast marine life now making it their home. On this deep wreck, you can spot lionfish, honeycomb moray eels, seahorses, pufferfish and more!

Depth: 29-31 meters

Diving Level: Hard - Advanced Open Water Divers and Above.



Inchcape 2

This wreck was donated by Inchcape Shipping Services in 2002. The wreck is nearly identical to Inchcape 1, but slightly longer (25m). Off to the side are large shoals of Snapper and along the deck are three huge resident Lionfish. You may also come acros Scorpionfish, Grouper, Angelfish, Arabian Boxfish, Moray Eel, Butterflyfish, and possibly several Giant Pufferfish.

Depth: 18 meters

Diving Level: Open Water Divers and Above



Inchcape 10

The vessel was purposely sunk on June 28, 2003, by ISS in order to form an artificial reef for fish and other marine life. As you dive towards the wreck, you’ll see a range of complex structures upholstered with coral growth which provide habitat opportunities for different species.

Depth: 23 meters

Diving Level: Advanced Open Water Divers and Above



Hole in the Wall

This dive site off the coast of Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort is known for its swim-throughs and diverse marine life, including batfish, clownfish, and triggerfish.

Depth: 16 meters

Diving level: Open Water Divers and Above



Shark Island

This dive site off the coast of Al Aqah is known for its schools of reef sharks and diverse marine life, including clownfish, angelfish, and moray eels.

Depth: 18 meters

Diving level: Open Water Divers and Above



Angel Reef

The dive site is 20 minutes from Fujairah City, you'll find a reef covered of soft purple, green and white soft coral. If you look closely you may spot Seahorses, Nudibranchs, hidden stingrays, Sea Snakes and lots of other cool marine life.

Depth: 28 meters

Diving level: Advanced Open Water Divers and Above
