For Snorkellers, basic water comfort is enough — even a nervous first-timer. We build everything else step by step. For Seal Team, children should be comfortable swimmers before starting scuba skills.

Yes. PADI Seal Team is designed specifically for ages 8+, takes place entirely in our indoor pool at a maximum depth of 4 metres, and every session is led by PADI professionals at a maximum 2:1 ratio.

Just swimwear, a towel and a water bottle. All snorkelling and scuba equipment is included in the term fee. A rash guard is handy for the open water weeks but not required.

The final four Fridays of term (weeks 7–10) move to the coast for supervised open water snorkelling — putting pool skills into practice in the real sea. A parent or guardian must be on-site, and we send exact location details a week ahead. There's no scuba in open water, in line with UAE guidelines for this age group.

If places remain, yes — we'll pro-rate the fee and pair your child with an ocean buddy to help them catch up. Just message us.

Children continue along the Ocean Pathway — Snorkellers progress towards Seal Team, and Seal Team members work towards PADI Junior Open Water from age 10. Term 2 booking opens to current families first. During school holidays we run Ocean Explorers camps instead of the Friday club.

Parents do not need to remain at Dive Tribe during the pool sessions, provided all required forms have been completed and we have an emergency contact number. Please arrive promptly for drop-off and collection. A parent or guardian must remain on-site during the open-water sessions.

Please let us know as soon as possible if your child cannot attend. Because places are reserved for the full term, we cannot normally provide refunds or individual replacement sessions for missed Fridays. We will, however, help your child catch up on important skills when they return wherever possible.

Yes. Before taking part in PADI Seal Team scuba activities, a parent or guardian must complete the required PADI participant and medical paperwork for their child. If an answer on the medical questionnaire indicates that medical approval is required, written clearance from a doctor must be provided before the child can participate in scuba activities.Completing the form does not usually mean your child needs a medical examination—it is an initial safety screening. Please return all forms before the first scuba session to avoid delaying participation.

The programme is led by Chloe, founder of Chloe Blue and a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, supported by a small team of appropriately qualified PADI professionals and assistants.We specialise in helping children develop water confidence and ocean skills at their own pace. Groups are kept small, with a maximum ratio of 6:1 for snorkelling and 2:1 for Seal Team pool scuba, so every child receives close supervision and individual support.

Your child’s safety always comes first. We assess the weather, sea state and visibility before every open-water session.If conditions are unsuitable, the session may be moved to another approved location, adapted into a pool or marine-education session, or rescheduled where possible. Parents will be informed as early as possible of any changes.

Places are reserved for the complete 10-week programme and group sizes are deliberately limited. If you cancel before the programme begins, any refund or credit will be handled in accordance with our booking terms and may be subject to deductions for non-refundable registration, certification or payment-processing costs.Once the term has started, fees are normally non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds are not generally available for individual sessions missed because of illness, holidays or other personal commitments.If Chloe Blue cancels a session and cannot provide a suitable replacement, rescheduled session or programme credit, the affected session will be refunded.
